2015 Parks Steward Award

Roger DiBrito selected for annual honor

Each year, The Parks and Trails Board nominates outstanding citizens for their voluntary contributions to County recreation sites and programs. Mr. DiBrito received this honor for his decades of involvement supporting active transportation initiatives and general recreation in the Lolo area. Counted among his projects are:

  • Lolo Lions Club ballfield and parks improvements
  • Safe Routes to School Grants acquisition
  • Securing funds for, and providing bike education in Lolo Schools
  • Planning and advocacy for the Lolo-to-Florence and Missoula-to-Lolo (M2L) Trails
