Easement request through County owned parcel - Seeley Lake, MT

Post Date:02/01/2017 1:43 PM

Missoula County received a request for an easement from Professional Consultants, Inc. (PCI), represented by Dale McCormick, for a 60’ wide public access and utility easement through a county-owned parcel (commonly referred to as Memorial Park).  The parcel is located adjacent Highway 83 in Seeley Lake, between Cedar Lane and Morrell Creek Road.  The intent of the easement is for subdivision ingress/egress and future commercial access off Hwy. 83 (pending development of available services).

The Parks & Trails Advisory Board reviewed the easement request at their March 2017 meeting with no decision.  The board is requesting public comment on the proposed easement.  Your comments are an integral part of the process in the management of your county parks and trails.  Staff will bring the easement request back to the Parks &Trails Advisory Board at their April 20th meeting.

Please submit comments to Garrick Swanson by April 12th and copy Dale McCormick.    Thank you in advance for your comments.  Questions regarding the proposal can be addressed to Garrick Swanson at or 406.258.4719.

Minutes from the March 2017 Parks and Trails Advisory Board meeting.

To assist in your review, a project information packet is available.
