Funding Opportunities Available
Missoula County is now accepting competitive applications from non-profit and governmental organizations for two county-funded grant opportunities. Click on the title of the program to learn more. Deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 16, at 3 p.m.
The Community Assistance Fund (CAF) is levied by the Board of County Commissioners to provide human services and establish a safety net or continuum of services to meet basic human needs. Projects awarded funding through the Community Assistance Fund serve at-risk populations at the most basic levels of food, shelter, medical care, and emergency transportation.
The Substance Abuse Prevention Mill Levy (SAP ML) was approved by Missoula voters in 2008 for the purpose of supporting prevention programs in Missoula County that help grow healthy youth and families and reduce the negative consequences and high costs of substance abuse.
These funding opportunities are managed by the Grants and Community Programs Division within Missoula County's Community and Planning Services department.
