Commissioners to Hold Hearing on Schmidt Road-Milwaukee Trail to Mullan Road Connector Public Trail Easement Open Space Acquisition
The Schmidt Road-Milwaukee Trail to Mullan Road Connector Public Trail Easement Open Space Acquisition would provide connection between the Milwaukee Trail corridor and Mullan Road as well as a future publicly accessible commuter and recreational trail. In November, City Council voted to approve the open space acquisition for this project. If the Board of County Commissioners vote in favor as well, it would approve an expenditure of up to $25,000 of the City’s portion of the 2006 Open Space Bond funds for the project. The hearing for this project will take place at the commissioners’ public meeting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7.
Stay up to date on COVID-19
Remember to keep your social circles small, socially distance yourselves and wear a mask! Local hospitals are receiving an overwhelming amount of calls from the general public asking for the COVID-19 vaccine. DO NOT call hospitals seeking the vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine is not for the general public at this time. We are in vaccine distribution Phase 1A. That means vaccines are only available to healthcare personnel and adult residents of long-term care facilities. Visit missoulainfo.com if you have any questions and for the most updated information from Missoula City-County's Health Department. To keep up with other Missoula County operations, see the Status of Missoula County operations amid COVID-19.
