Who is my commissioner?

Commissioners are elected at large, but Seeley Lake is in District 2 (Commissioner Strohmaier). You can leave him a message by calling 406-258-4877.

The Seeley Lake Community Council is comprised of six residents and meets at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of every month at the Historic Barn on Hwy 83. Click here to learn more about the community council, including minutes, agendas, bylaws and contact information.

Community councils act as a liaison between the citizens of their communities and the county commissioners, providing information deemed useful, beneficial and helpful in decisions that affect the community. Community councils are advisory only and have no tax or other governmental powers.

Your Public Library

The Seeley branch of the Missoula Public Library is located inside of the Seeley-Swan High School. It is open Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Seeley Lake Lions Park: 3 acres, amenities include a restroom, pond, playground, shelter and picnic tables.
  • Priority Park: 4 acres, off of Canyon Dr.
  • Drew Creek Park: 36 acres, off of Mountain View Dr. and Elkhorn Rd.
  • Riverview Trail: Paved .7 mi, off of Riverview Dr.
  • Boy Scout Road Trail: Paved, .8 mi, off of Boy Scout Road
  • Locust Lane Trail: Paved, .5 mi, off of Locust Lane near the school
  • Clearwater Lions Park: Access on Elm Drive, amenities include a restroom, paved .2 mi trail, shelter and picnic tables.
