About the Zoning Board of Adjustment
The Missoula County Zoning Board of Adjustment provides equality and flexibility in the implementation of county zoning. The board administers provisions of the County Zoning Resolution; hears and decides appeals, variances, and special exceptions to terms in the County Zoning Resolution upon which the board is required to pass under that resolution.

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the County Courthouse Annex, room 151.

The board consists of five regular members and up to three alternate members; members serve two-year terms. All appointments are made by the Board of County Commissioners.
