Communications

Missoula County residents have a right to know what’s going on with their local government, and the Communications Division exists to make sure that happens.

Communications staff are responsible for getting the word out about county services and operations and helping make sure the public knows about upcoming decisions that affect their lives. They do this through multiple channels, including:

News releases

Constituents can subscribe to receive our news releases and other email updates directly to their inboxes by subscribing. You can read all recent news releases online.

Missoula County Voice

Missoula County Voice is the County's online engagement platform that features current county projects and initiatives for residents to provide feedback on. The site includes various tools for the public to interact with county staff, surveys, interactive maps, asking questions and providing comments.

Communications works with community councils to host these listening session events across the county to provide an opportunity for residents to connect directly with the commissioners, other elected officials and staff about opportunities and challenges in their communities.
