Reporting for Jury Duty in Justice Court
If you have received a jury summons by mail, you are required to respond to it within 72 hours of receipt. Use the form below or call us at 406-258-3470 to submit your confirmation. If you feel you need to be excused from jury duty, please indicate that in the last box of the form.
Many times after you have been selected for a particular case, the case settles before the time you are ordered to report. You may check the status of the trial for which you have been summoned to report at any time by calling our office at 406-258-3470. We will attempt to notify you if the trial settles to avoid your having to report.
