Surveyors visit sites and use various equipment to measure and map the land, water or airspace to guide land use and development projects and provide advice to residents and other County departments. The County Surveyor’s Office, which works closely with the Clerk and Recorder’s Office and the Planning, Development and Sustainability Office, can provide aerial photographs, certificates of survey, subdivision information, original deed exhibits, old survey records and more. They also help with road petitions to establish, alter or abandon County roads.
Property Records
Aerial Photographs
The Surveyors office has a wide variety of aerial photos. These photos are of varying size, scale and date. There is a hard copy index that indicates the photo number, where it is located, a short name, scale, date and section-township-range. The index also has a section that is organized by area and can be searched by township-range-section. There is also a database that can be searched by township-range-section or by keywords.
You may request copies of these photos by emailing us. Please note that the price of each photo is dependent on its size.
