Candidate Information - Look for candidate information here
- A voter who is absent from their polling place on Election Day and requests an official ballot in advance. Since 1999, voters in Montana can request an absentee ballot without a reason. Prior to 1999, voters would have to provide a reason why they could not attend the polls on Election Day. Absentee Voter
- Also known as absentee voting, ballots are mailed 25 days prior to Election Day. Vote by mail ballots for the School and Special District Election will go out on or after April 17, 2019. A Vote-by-Mail Ballot Collector Information form must be included with your ballot.
- Postage to return your ballot in the mail will cost $0.55 or one Forever stamps. Voted ballots may also be returned in person at the Missoula County Courthouse or the Elections Center (Fairgrounds). Ballot drop off is also available on Election Day at the following locations: Clinton School, Hellgate Elementary, Target Range School, Lolo Elementary, and Potomac Elementary. Return Postage
