2016 Growth Policy
Following more than 18 months of work involving hundreds of members of the public, the Board of County Commissioners took testimony and considered the May 2016 version of the Missoula County Growth Policy at a public hearing on Wednesday, June 1st. The Commissioners unanimously passed a resolution of intent to adopt a new growth policy for the county. The 2016 Missoula County Growth Policy will guide future planning and community development efforts in the county over the next 20 years. It strongly supports having county staff work with local communities and areas to plan for future growth.
