Healthy Start Missoula is a coalition of early childhood service providers in Missoula County. Healthy Start is Missoula’s local Best Beginnings Community Coalition, a statewide network of early childhood coalitions that work to increase coordination across child serving systems at the grass roots level. Healthy Start members meet monthly to network and organize community-wide outreach projects.

State of the Young Child: Healthy Start Missoula organizes the annual State of the Young Child Luncheon. This luncheon features prominent leaders in early childhood and seeks to increase awareness for current issues and programs impacting families with young children. The luncheon is followed up with training for service providers, which varies from year to year depending on need.
