Child care training offered by Let's Move! Missoula focuses on the physical health guidelines for infants and children. It covers motor-skill development, coordination, mobility, and exercise to help ensure young children develop a healthy body. Nutrition needs of infants and children will also be presented, including best practices in feeding at child care centers, the development of taste preferences in children, and strategies for helping children to enjoy a wide variety of healthy foods, even “picky eaters." The goal is to give child care providers the tools to help children develop healthy habits for life.
