Signing up with Rave Facility is a great way for you to protect your business by allowing you to provide critical facility information for first responders for your organization during an emergency 9-1-1 call. Missoula County provides Rave Facility to all businesses and other non-governmental organizations that have physical locations within Missoula County at no cost.
What is Rave Facility?
Rave Facility is an important module within the Smart911 suite of emergency preparedness services that allows organizations of all types to create a Facility Safety Profile for any type of facility or campus at www.ravefacility.com. Creating a facility profile is easy and scalable to any size business or organization.
Here's how it works:
When any call, whether landline or mobile phone, dials 9-1-1 from within the geographical boundaries of your facility location, your business facility profile will immediately display on the 9-1-1 dispatcher’s computer monitor. In addition, during emergencies dispatchers can search for profiles of nearby facilities to alert other businesses that may be impacted.
Your Facility's Safety Profile may include:
- Multiple buildings within a campus
- Point(s) of contact on site
- Fire alarm contact
- Security alarm contact
- Property owner contact information
- Gates or access codes
- Geographical boundaries including parking lots
- Floor plans of each building
- Landline phone numbers within a building
- Utility shutoff locations
- and other emergency information
Why I Should Create a Profile?
The Missoula County 9-1-1 Center receives emergency calls from within large and small facilities every day, from landlines and mobile phones. Whether it is an employee, a customer or a visitor at your facility, getting the right information to the right person at the right time can save lives and protect property.
Protect your business by creating your RaveFacility profile today and while you’re at it, encourage your employees to protect their families by creating a free Smart911 Safety Profile for their household.
