Partnerships with neighborhood groups, service and non-profit organizations help maintain our parks and trails. Partners also promote opportunities for developing new recreation opportunities. Advisory boards and committees are critical to this work.
The Parks and Trails Advisory Board advises the commissioners on establishing policies related to parks and trails countywide. This board also reviews applications for the Community Parks & Recreation Grants Program.
Additional advisory boards include the Big Sky Park Stewardship Committee and Tom Green Memorial Park Advisory Group.
